“The Impressionists” is a short film series commissioned by ARRI for the launch of the Impression V Filters. The film pays homage to the legendary Indian classical vocalist Ustad Abdul Karim Khan and his soul-stirring performance of “Raga Jhinjoti Piya Bin Nahin Aavat Chain” (“Without My Beloved, There is No Peace”), originally recorded in the 1920s. Amidst beautiful trees, an Odissi dancer elegantly moves to the captivating melody, fully immersed in its emotional power.
