On shoot somewhere in Ladakh. This was a village we spent only one night in.  Sometimes the view from the window sort of makes up for the lack of basic amenities (like the assurance that you’re not sleeping in a bed recently vacated by someone else).

It’s impossible to convey the discomfort of staying in a room if the windows open up to that.
